We are looking for a dynamic Human Resource Specialist to join our HR team. This position will be part-time, estimated at 25 hours per week, with the potential to become full time in the long run. VIDA Select is a 100% remote company, with contractors living all over the world.
The ideal candidate has prior experience in general HR, operations and recruitment, with a thorough understanding of HR policy and procedures. The bulk of the role will involve overseeing end-to-end recruitment and HR Operations, but there is also opportunity for developing and refining systems. We are eager to find an HR manager who easily connects with people and has a detail-oriented mindset to handle the changing nature of the workforce.
Objectives of this Role:
Oversee, refine, and execute end-to-end recruitment and selection for all departments.
Update current recruiting procedures and design new ones as needed.
Supervise the Recruiting & Operations Team and report on its performance.
Track recruitment metrics (budgeting, cost/hire, etc).
Search for and implement new sourcing methods to identify highly qualified job candidates.
Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs.
Maintain/update all hiring materials, such as job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
Stay up-to-date on labor legislation and inform recruiters and managers about changes in regulations.
Review recruitment software and suggest the best option for company needs.
Maintain and enhance all HR processes, including onboarding and exit.
Champion the onboarding process, ensuring the process is up to date and of high quality, providing clarity and connection for all team members and their roles in relation to the overall vision.
Identify and recommend areas of improvement to internal standard operating procedures.
Enforce and maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, maintaining, and recommending all HR related SOPs, policies and procedures.
Plan, monitor, and evaluate HR activities by scheduling management conferences with team members, hearing and resolving team member grievances, providing training and counselling/disciplining team members when required.
Prepare and maintain human resources metrics like attrition and retention.
Bachelor’s degree in human resources
4+ years in human resources or recruitment
Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills and ethical mindset
Working knowledge of Google Docs/sheets/forms/presentations and add-ons for gForms.
Excellent understanding of recruitment processes
Excellent knowledge of candidate selection methods
Excellent time-management skills
Adept at problem-solving and conflict resolution
Extensive knowledge of HR policies and systems
100% remote work. Should have a dedicated home office set-up, with a fast internet connection and power back-up.
Working hours: Since VIDA Select is a 100% remote company, our team members are situated all over the world. The person hired for this position should be able to work from 10 AM to 2PM EDT and also from 9:30 PM to 1:30 AM EDT.
Experience working with project management tools like ClickUp
Master’s degree in Human Resource Management
Familiarity with HR softwares and HR automation tools
