Javascript side navigation menu

I'm using the menu from [login to view URL]
It's a good menu, but not for a onepage website. See the example on [login to view URL] (mobile view). When clicking on a link in the menu, the page scolls to the anchor. The menu stays open, but needs to be closed after clicking a link.
Also, on the desktop site when I scroll down the page then the active menu item should light up. This only works when I click on an item. Not on scrolling trough the page.
I think the page needs a little JS tweaking (it's build in Joomla). Can you help me?
