There's neither anything (within the table 'sections') to cleanly define such hierarchy(from the code`s point of view) nor anything to suggest what you are actually matching against(those constructs you mention - category,subcategory are 'imagined' and does not exist in a clean way), so there's no 'one line of code' implementation that would make it function as you want.
