We have created a menu system, using CSS, JS and HTML which loads individual menu item content upon click. We are happy with the styling, but the code is going to be placed into a website which uses HTML purifier to weed out dirty HTML.
We therefore need the code/structure re-written so that it doesn't use data-id tags, or any other HTML which will be stripped out by purifier. We have already tried using alternative attributes to href within the logic, but purifier excludes this code as well.
In essence, we need to keep as much of the code to external CSS and JS files as possible.
I have included a JSfiddle of what we currently have - which works fine outside of the website it will be sat within. [url removed, login to view]
For security reasons, we will not allow access to the dev site, so will need to be provided with an external CSS and JS file, which will be hosted away from the main site, and the HTML code which will sit within the site and call any external files.
Once we have the code/file, we are happy to test and provide feedback on how it performs within the site.
