I’m putting together a lightweight GraphQL code-base that my team can review internally as a reference implementation. The focus will be on user-related data and, more specifically, on clear examples of data querying and filtering. I’d like a small but realistic schema—think user profiles, roles, and preferences—served through a clean Node.js / TypeScript stack (Apollo Server or similar is fine). Unit-tested resolver examples, a concise README describing how to spin everything up with Docker or plain npm scripts, and a handful of sample queries written in GraphiQL or Postman collections will make the demo self-explanatory for the developers who will clone it later. Authentication, authorization, and mutation support are not required for this first pass; I’m keeping scope tight so the spotlight stays on read operations and filtering patterns. However, the structure should remain extensible so we can bolt on those features in a future sprint without reorganizing the entire project. Deliverables • Complete repo (Git or zip) including schema, resolvers, and seed data • Documentation: setup, sample queries, and brief architectural notes • A short screencast or markdown walkthrough highlighting the query and filter examples Acceptance will be based on the repo building in one step, all queries returning the seeded data as documented, and the code base following a standard linter/prettier config.
