Logo: It has to be a smart text, which I can update later. This is a website that allows people to plan their travel in groups from a point A to a point B, using localization on Googlemaps. 1. If no GPS localization of the PC or mobile phone is available, the client defines a group indicating a "join-up" address and a "group split" address and defines an acceptable walking time around each address (calculated in distance by Googlemaps). 1.1. NEW RESERVATION: If no other group is available within both of these allowed walking times, or if there is no more space available in an available group, then the client defines join-up and split times and also the number of persons he wants to share the group with: If join-up time is self-defined then the split time is calculated in function of the distance between join-up and split places (calculated using Googlemaps). If split time is self-defined then join-up time is calculated in function of the distance between join-up and split places (calculated using Googlemaps). ⇨ This info can be shown on a Googlemap. ⇨ THE GROUP must be confirmed by the client, who provides a name, a telephone number. The group is then registered in our database. 1.2. GROUP SHARING: If another group is available within both of these allowed walking distances of join-up and split addresses AND the group still has space left (among the maximum number of persons defined by the creator of the group), then the client receives an alert indicating the address and the walking distance where a group is available and how full it is. => This info can be shown on a Googlemap. The client can choose to join that suggested group by providing name and telephone number (in that case the information of the group will show one more passenger and the data in our database will be updated) or to create a new group (see 1.1). 2. If a GPS localization of the PC or mobile phone is available, the client can visualize on a Googlemap the groups existing at a 5 min (by default) walking distance (this parameter can be customized) around him, their split places and how full they are. 2.1. If the client is interested in an existing group, then he can select it on the Googlemap or on a list of addresses. 2.2. If the client is not interested in an existing group, then he can create his own group (see 1.1). 3. The groups whose join-up time is passed are not shown to the clients, but all information is kept in the database for statistical purposes.
