Ok...lets give this a shot at explaining....
I have a vintage clothing business in Australia. I have 1,000s of garments that come and go. I reuse my swing tags (garment tags) vs leaving them on garments and having the purchaser throw them away. The tags don't have any prices on them, just colors in case I have to adjust prices due to currency fluctuations, freight etc... SO... at present, I only have 5 colors and I'm having to manually write prices which is driving me nuts! What I'm needing is to have a color chart made that will cover me from $19, $29, $39... through to $99.
Then for $115, $125 and finally $150 (so12 colors in total). This might be too confusing for clients that come into the shop, so I'm trying to have perhaps $19- $49 (sub $50) maybe pinks, oranges, yellows, then $50-$100 blues, greens, purples? And over $100 grey, black etc.... I'M OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS!
I'd also like to have at the bottom a code so if someone was color blind they could refer to that "oh it's a ------, so it's $79".
If I sound nuts, I'm not, the system works great but the fact that I'm having to add colors might become too much for people so I'm interested in getting a designers opinion and going from there. I have a printer, I just need to get colors and CMYK codes for those and suggestions for how to make this visually easy for my clientele.
