Unique Opportunity - AFRICA start-up ... looking for a WEB DEVELOPER

My background is investment banking (previous career) and private equity (current job). My business partner is a graphic designer. We have worked together for 1.5 years in the development of a business plan and website which we think has real potential to make excellent returns. The idea: at a very high level, it is an online meeting platform (traditionally called ‘online dating’). Now hear me out … there is a plethora of online dating sites out there. We know that. However, have you had a look at them? They are sleazy, inundated with advertisements and the majority are owned by the largest online date company in the world – Match.com. Our site is done differently with a few unique competitive advantage points and differentiators … [we will tell you more about it if you are more interested]. The graphic design (including content, artwork and design) is done. The site map is done. The business plan is done. What we now need is a developer to code front and back end so that we have a fully operational website. We are wanting an EQUITY partner to provide sweat equity (i.e. we are all equal owners in the business and all strive to get this thing off the ground). We are not so concerned about where you live given how easy it is to communicate these days (skype). In fact, it would be cool if we could release our site into a few countries to achieve diversification. The only criteria is for you to be dedicated to this project. Not all startups work – we get that. And yes … we also want to have fun on the way. But we understand the importance of hard work and dedication.
