This project is a conversion from VB6 COM components, ASP Classic pages (with some old javascript), SQLServer (originally MSSQL7).
The Tote Application server is a simple web server application that combines a few functions for web clients to access and perform functions on the database.
The database will need to be converted to a new database platform.
The ASP Classic pages and COM components will need to be converted to Django (and any other framework you might suggest) Python.
For the purposes of this quote, a straight, complete conversion should be quoted. However the requirements will reduce some small features of the web client.
The successful applicant will be in top contention for 3 other similar applications using the same database and the same/similar COM components.
~ 1800 lines of stored procedures (shared with other applications)
~ 1000 lines of ASP code – including HTML and Javascript
~ 800 lines of VB6 code (some shared with other applications)
