The content is great, but the design leaves a lot to be desired. This position is NOT for an instructional designer, it is for a graphic design minded e-learning developer who can make our content look really spectacular. The content will be unique, "non-corporate," playful, engaging, beautiful and inspiring. The design will follow more of a look to the apps Headspace and Google Primer, than to Skillsoft. If your design style is traditional in nature, please stop reading here...We are only looking for candidates who can produce jaw-dropping content. Core Responsibilities: · Develop a theme for training modules. · Build interactive elements into the module slides. · Create consistency across the modules regarding how they flow and how they draw the learner in. · Design 1,000's of slides to ensure beauty and purpose · Provide feedback on content and make recommendations · Upload finished Articulate files to LearnDash portal · Design for mobile (most learners will learn via cell phone or tablet) About You You want to be (or are) the best e-learning designer in the world. You know how to bring training messages to life through intelligent design. Your e-learning modules are so unique and so gorgeous that people forget they are going through a training experience. The graphics you use in your training design are far from the stuffy stock photos of people in suits sitting around a conference table, and instead are bright, colorful and visually stimulating. The fonts used are far from average and make the words pop off the screen. You are no stranger to Articulate and have the ability to introduce various interactions that aid in the content delivery. You are a self-starter who can take a file and repurpose it without a lot of direction from your boss. You like to work virtually and quickly. You’ve been told in your past that your design skills are out of this world, which is why you decided to take on design projects that allow for an independent work arrangement.
