Models of Diversity is a registered charity that has spent the last decade campaigning for more diversity in the fashion, beauty and media industry.
We are delighted to be working with acclaimed fashion photographer Amanda Akokhia on a 2023 calendar raising awareness to the issues surrounding male mental health and how society's expectations and traditional gender roles play a role in why men are less likely to discuss or seek help for their mental health problems.
Three times as many men as women die by suicide
Men aged 40 to 49 have the highest suicide rates in the UK
Men report lower levels of life satisfaction than women according to the Government’s national wellbeing survey
Men are less likely to access psychological therapies than women: only 36% of referrals to NHS talking therapies are for men
We desperately need a designer to help put the calendar together, although financially we are not able to fully recompense, we can promote your brand and help across our social media (over 100k) and with a logo on the calendar, our last charity calendar featured across the national press and on BBC, Sky and ITN news as well as in Daily mail, Metro and The Times.
