CALL FOR TALENTS TO CELEBRATE EGYPT'S DIVERSITY IN MONTREAL
Do you have an Egyptian connection in your past, present or future? Do you have a talent that could artistically express that connection? We'd love to hear from you very soon!
Montreal enjoys an impressively rich and varied Egyptian diaspora. With our differing experiences, memories and trajectories we all share a common thread where Egypt is part of us.
Whether or not you consider yourself fully Egyptian, this is an invitation for anyone with an "Egyptian connection" - no matter how distant - to celebrate this diversity. We welcome all, particularly those who might have a performing talent, and of course this includes all amateurs. Come and join us by playing music, singing, reading poetry, or dancing!
MARK YOUR CALENDAR: On Saturday Oct 17, 2015 at the Tanna Schulish hall at McGill University we will come together to celebrate the rich heritage of Montreal's Egyptian 'communities' and we want to make it a true celebration of our full diversity.
If you are interested to participate in this event in any way, or if you have questions or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with us in the coming few weeks as we start our rehearsals and preparations for this concert.
