The Witness Project

I am looking to create a very simple website called The Witness Project. It would:
1. Allow members to sign up and have their own profile page.
2. That profile page would be pretty much a static page that would have 30 text box/slots (day 1 thru day 30) that the member could journal daily their activities for that day.
3. users could form closed groups (or forums) that only that group could amend or comment in. Each group would have a Moderator that controls or protors the 30 day activity/project.
Example: XYZ Baptist Church decides to do a Witness Project. People sign-up to the website under the "XYZ Baptist Church" project. Only XYZ group members can input entries to the XYZ project. The XYZ moderator has control over assiting, guiding and/or helping members to complete the project. (naturally as each group member journals on their profile page, the journal entry appears on the collective group's page so everyone that group sees a continuous blog of those comments and entries.)
