Recreate a 5 minute animated video

Project Brief: to update the Plain English Ant ‘Movie’
Years ago we created a short (5 min) ‘movie’ that now needs updating. At the time, we used a series of drawings and animated them a little.
The movie is on Youtube [url removed, login to view]
I will provide the successful Freelancer with the high res file via Dropbox
Problems with the existing ‘movie’
1. It moves too slowly
2. The music is repetitive
3. The animations are a bit jerky
4. The whole effect is bit old fashioned
What I want
I am looking for someone to recreate the movie so that it feels fresh, modern, and engaging.
I would consider updates to the drawings too, but this may be too big a project. Is this possible?

• Tell me if you are offering to change drawing style (not essential but I’m very interested in a new look)
• Give me examples of similar work.
Format
I need the finished files as MP4s, in two file sizes:
• a high resolution version (720p) suitable for playing on a large screen at a conference
• a version for Youtube or our website (480p)
Deadline
I need this work completed by 3 September 2014
