I’m building a discreet, necklace-style safety device that can be worn every day but instantly turns into a lifeline. With one press of its panic button it must both text an alert and place an automated call to pre-saved contacts, while an optional GPS module streams real-time location to a paired mobile app. I already have the concept sketches and a rough feature map; what I need now is an engineer or small team who can take this from idea to working prototype. Core requirements • Necklace form factor, lightweight and comfortable for continuous wear. • Dual-action panic button: simultaneous SMS/notification and voice call triggered through mini button • Plug-and-play GPS add-on that activates when pressing button and send live location to the parents • Low-power design: rechargeable battery targeting at least 72 h standby with BLE advertising • Simple companion app (iOS or Android first is fine) to receive alerts, show live map, and manage contact numbers. I’m open to the stack you prefer—Arduino, ESP32, Nordic nRF, custom PCB—so long as the final prototype is compact, stable and manufacturable. 3D printing for the shell is acceptable during this phase; final enclosure aesthetics can follow once the electronics prove out.
