Language of Store
Budget €250-750 EUR
Our current website ([login to view URL]) is in Portuguese and is based on images. What we want is to:
1. Translate the site into Spanish and English with the integration of a button that permits to select the language / country in which the site is viewed by users,
2. We know that the fact that the site is based on images makes the difficults the process, and therefore, we are available to pass the site to code (by the improvement in terms of SEO). For the 3 languages (portuguese, english and spanish).
We prefer to view the budget in 3 parts: a budget for point 1, another for point 2 and the last one for everything.
There are some points that can be obstacles to the process and that I will make explicit below:
1. Currently, we use an app for managing reviews and referrals (app Growave), and this app is associated with the online store, but for now, it will not appear to the other languages of the site. Therefore, it has to disappear whenever the user isn't viewing the website in portuguese
2. Ensure that by changing languages, we are also able to change the rates applied to that particular country (ex: VAT).
2.1 SAGE: The billing system that automatically receives all data for creating order invoices that are placed on shopify. Two problems here: Orders that are not from Portugal, have a different tax regime and Tax documents must also be in different languages.
3. Notifications sent by Shopify (ex: order confirmation) cannot all be sent in Portuguese, they must be sent depending on the language the person was in when checking out.
4. The checkout area must also change languages as languages are selected
5. Integration with Mailchimp: where our database lives, which sents everyday different workflows and newsletters. What we want to avoid is: that English people, receive emails in Portuguese (for example). How can we make this distinction between emails that are portuguese and emails that aren't?
6. Initial pop-up: we use shopify's own pop-up, how can we program it to be presented in different languages?
7. Facebook pixel: How to manage Facebook ads in, for example, English for audiences who later end up browsing our main website but in English? Currently, the pixel is also being fed by our website.
8. Google Analytics: currently powered entirely by our website and main domain, with all our history. How is this management done afterwards? Can we distinguish who browses in different languages?
We want to have this project finished by the end for september.
