Google AdSense Expert: Close Account

Hi,
I have a Google AdSense account that I want to close, but I am unable to do so. My account is verified and my payments are not on hold, but I am still unable to close it.
This is the message I get when I try to close it: "We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are unable to process your request at this time. Our engineers have been notified of this problem and will work to resolve it."
I'm looking for someone who can possibly guide me and help me to close it.
BTW, please not that I am the account administrator, and I have already tried deleting all extensions, clearing cache, and using different browsers.
PLEASE INDICATE IF YOU CAN THINK OF OTHER SOLUTIONS BESIDES THE ONES POSTED ABOVE.
