Hello, I hope you're doing well. I have a very important and time critical project I would like to work with you on. We have discussed this recently and you agreed that you would be interested. I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. Because of the holidays I have been spending a lot of time with family.
I'm working with a publisher on the book you wrote for me "Stock Trading" and the Publisher is asking me to develop a training manual which they will include as a supplement to the book. You may have your own ideas about the outline of this training manual and that is perfectly okay. I will listen to any suggestions you may have. What I envision is focusing on particular sections of the book and teaching the readers how to implement the techniques in a real-life situation. The reason I say it's time critical is because the Publisher has asked me to write 300-500 words that really gives the readership something to learn. I asked if this would be in addition to the training manual or it would be the beginning of the training manual. She said, this would be the beginning of the training manual. So, with that in mind what I'm thinking is, maybe you can break the book down into various parts and provide more in-depth training for each part/topic. We can create this as mini-projects for each part/topic. Once we have agreed on an outline for the training manual we can create the first part (300-500 words) and provide it to the Publisher to satisfy their immediate request. We can then work on the additional parts and provide them as we finish. As a result, once we've provided all parts/topics our training manual will be complete.
Please let me know your thoughts. Also, how many different parts do you feel we can split the book into to create the supplement?
Personal Note: I know from working with you in the past that you are a very busy author so I would like to request that you please make this project a priority to your busy schedule. Vipul, I believe we may be able to turn this book into a money-making publication through this Publisher I'm working with. If we do, I will share some of these profits with you. Of course, I cannot say at this point in time how much we can potentially make but I do promise you I will show my appreciation for the excellent work you produce. Please offer me your feedback as soon as possible and let me know your thoughts regarding outline, price, timeframe, etc..., so we can get started.
