OVERVIEW I am looking for a highly skilled 3D web developer / interactive-simulation specialist to build a premium, realistic, first-person 3D simulation of a modern hospital that demonstrates the physical security of its radiology department and the incident-response chain triggered when an intruder attempts to steal the radioactive source from a Gamma Knife (Elekta Icon) radiotherapy device. The simulation must be fully 3D, browser-based, highly detailed, and professionally polished — showcasing the hospital building, all security layers (doors, barriers, checkpoints, guards, CCTV, a security control room), the police response with a realistic response time, and a dynamic outcome: depending on the intruder's speed, stealth, and the police response time, the attempt sometimes succeeds (escape) and sometimes fails (interception & arrest). This is a security-awareness / training-style visualization and must look and behave professionally. OBJECTIVES Visualize, in interactive 3D, the layered physical protection of a hospital and its high-value radioactive source. Simulate a complete adversary timeline: intrusion → reaching the device → breaching it → extracting the source → escape attempt. Model a realistic detection → alarm → police dispatch → response-time → interception chain. Deliver non-deterministic outcomes (success or capture) so each run can differ, driven by timing, alert level, and police response time. FULL SCOPE OF WORK 1) The Hospital Building & Environment (3D, detailed) A modern, believable multi-zone hospital: exterior plaza with parking lot and roads, a main entrance and a separate emergency entrance, reception lobby, corridors, a radiology wing, and a dedicated, secured Gamma Knife treatment room, plus supporting rooms (nurse/security stations). High-quality PBR materials, balanced realistic lighting, soft dynamic shadows, environment reflections, and clean architectural detailing (façade, signage, flooring, ceilings). Correct real-world scale, no clipping/overlaps, and solid first-person navigation (WASD + mouse look) with proper collision (no walking through walls or objects). 2) Doors (must be highly detailed and clearly visible) Realistic doors with fine detail: frames, handles/push-plates, glass panels, access-control readers (badge/keypad), and status LEDs. Multiple door types with correct behavior: automatic sliding entrance doors, standard doors, and secured/locked access-controlled doors. Restricted doors (radiology / Gamma Knife room) are locked and require valid access; forcing them raises an alarm. Smooth open/close animation with sound. 3) Layered Physical Security (Defense in Depth) Perimeter: bollards, vehicle boom barriers, controlled gates. Entry control: reception security desk, guard checkpoints, turnstiles, metal detectors, badge access. Zoning: clearly signed access tiers — Public → Staff-only → Restricted Radiology → Controlled Gamma Knife room — each enforced by visible door security and signage. 4) Security Guards & Police (animated 3D characters) Security guards with realistic idle/patrol/walk animations, stationed at entrances, reception, and near the radiology/Gamma Knife area, following patrol routes. Police officers and marked police vehicles that are dispatched and respond to the incident, converge on the scene, and perform the arrest in the capture outcome. 5) CCTV Cameras + Security Control / Monitoring Room Detailed CCTV cameras (bullet + dome) throughout the facility, with 4 cameras covering the Gamma Knife room aimed at the device, plus corridors, entrances, and reception. A functional security control room featuring a video wall of live camera feeds (multiple viewports rendering the actual 3D scene from each camera). The control room detects the intrusion and initiates the response. 6) The Scenario — Adversary Timeline (step by step) Intruder enters the facility and moves through the access zones. Reaches the Gamma Knife device in the controlled room. Breaches the secured source-chamber (e.g., repeated strikes / defeating the cover) with visible progressive damage — cracks, debris, deformation, and sound. The radioactive source is exposed (clearly visible, with a warning glow/indicator). Intruder extracts the source using a tool (interactive action, e.g., press a key) — the source transfers to the intruder. Intruder attempts to escape the building toward a getaway vehicle. 7) Detection, Alarm & Police Incident Response (with response time) Detection triggers: forcing a locked door, tampering with/striking the device, or entering a restricted zone are detected by CCTV and tamper/motion sensors, raising a silent alarm in the control room. Response chain: alarm → guards alerted → police dispatched → an on-screen response-time countdown / ETA → police vehicles arrive → perimeter barriers/road blockade deploy → officers move in. Configurable, realistic response time is a core mechanic — the outcome depends on how the intruder's actions race against the police ETA. 8) Dynamic Outcomes (non-deterministic — key requirement) The result must not be fixed. Based on the intruder's speed, stealth/alert level, and the (partly randomized) police response time, each run can end differently: Escape (security breach): if the intruder extracts the source and clears the perimeter before police intercept → a clean getaway (with a "Security Breach — Suspect Escaped" end state). Capture (secured): if police intercept in time → a chase, road blockade, and arrest ("Suspect Arrested" end state). Include a short cinematic sequence for each outcome (smooth camera work, flashing police lights, sirens), and a clear end screen for each result. 9) Gamma Knife Device — Protection Steps (visualize the controls) Clearly demonstrate the layered protection of the radioactive source: restricted locked room with access control, full CCTV coverage, tamper/motion sensors on the device, a hardened source-chamber cover that resists intrusion, an alarm on tampering, and the guard/police response. The user should be able to see and understand each protection layer and how response time affects the result. 10) UI / UX & Presentation Clear objective/step indicators, minimap, an alarm & response-time HUD, the control-room camera view, a professional intro/briefing, and distinct end screens for each outcome. Optional bilingual support (English + Arabic RTL); Arabic labels are a plus. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS & DELIVERABLES Built with [login to view URL] / WebGL ([login to view URL] acceptable if justified), running smoothly in modern desktop browsers (Chrome/Edge/Firefox). Optimized for smooth real-time performance: model reuse/instancing, sensible draw calls, LODs where useful, efficient lighting/shadows. Correct GLTF/GLB asset pipeline (scaling, orientation, PBR materials, skeletal animation via AnimationMixer), proper shadows and reflections. Deliverables: complete, well-commented source code; all 3D assets; build & run instructions; and a short walkthrough video of the final result. A self-contained build that runs by opening in a browser is a plus. REQUIRED SKILLS interactive 3D & game-style logic and state machines, GLTF/GLB & character animation, shaders & PBR materials, real-time lighting/shadows, GSAP or equivalent for cinematics, spatial (3D positional) audio, performance optimization. Bonus: architectural / security visualization or serious-games experience. PLEASE INCLUDE IN YOUR PROPOSAL Links to relevant previous work (interactive first-person 3D, architectural or security visualizations, WebGL games). Your proposed approach, tech stack, and how you will implement: detailed doors, CCTV + control-room video wall, guard/police behavior, barriers, the detection/response system, and the dynamic escape-vs-arrest outcomes. Milestones, timeline, and a fixed price.
