If successful, this can become an ongoing long-term role across multiple furniture products and product lines. Please Include 1. Your experience with high-end, upholstered, smart, mechanized, or electric recliner furniture 2. Examples of products you helped develop from concept to sample or production 3. Your experience with internal construction, foam, cushioning, springs, upholstery, mechanisms, actuators, motors, smart components, and manufacturing 4. Whether you create CAD/technical drawings or mainly guide/review development 5. Hello, Pitch: With over eight years in the design industry, including extensive experience in high-end furniture product development, I am more than ready to take on the challenge for DanKen Industries. I have a strong understanding of how furniture is built from the ground up, which includes frames, upholstery, foam, cushioning, springs, support systems, mechanisms, hardware, smart component placement, wiring layout - all essential components for upholstered and mechanized furniture. One aspect that sets me apart is my ability to not only design pieces but also my proficiency in overseeing the entire development process; from ideation to production and quality control. I am well-versed with the manufacturing process and have a proven record of coordinating effectively with CAD designers, mechanical engineers, electrical specialists, renderers, suppliers, and manufacturing partners. Furthermore, my history includes ensuring strict adherence to US regulatory standards and maintaining top quality and safety expectations in all products developed. My knowledge of U.S furniture requirements is thorough and up-to-date. If given the opportunity, I can bring these invaluable skills to your project and contribute admirably to DanKen's desire for luxury smart furniture designs. Thanks!

I noticed you’re building luxury furniture with integrated techsofas that recline, beds with TV lifts, sectionals with smart controls, yet your biggest risk isn’t the design. It’s the internal construction: the frames that warp under actuator stress, the foam that sags too soon, the wiring paths that get buried under upholstery layers. One failed sample can erase months of design work and supplier trust. treat this as an engineering problem. You need someone who treats it like a material science puzzle: balancing comfort, durability, and manufacturability before the first cut is made. Before applying, I mapped out a full development strategy for your recliner line, phase breakdown from sketch to production-ready BOM, with risk factors for actuator placement, foam density trade-offs, and U.S. flammability compliance. Review it and tell me which product you’d want to tackle first. We’ll start there, not with a broad engagement.

Hello, Sir. This project is a perfect fit for me as I have previous experience performing similar tasks. I previously worked with a mid-sized furniture manufacturer where I supported the development of upholstered seating and reclining furniture lines, including modular sofas and electric recliner chairs. My role involved reviewing early concept sketches, translating them into buildable internal structures, and coordinating with CAD designers to refine frame geometry, foam layering, and mechanism placement. I also collaborated with suppliers on actuator and recliner hardware integration, ensuring proper clearance for moving parts, wiring routes, and service access panels. Several of the prototypes I supported moved successfully from sample stage into small-batch production after iterative testing for comfort, durability, and assembly efficiency. The following are a few questions I would like to clarify. ♠ Which category of product will you prioritize for the first phase (sofa, recliner, sectional, or bed system), and do you already have existing mechanism suppliers in place? ♠ What level of deliverable detail do you expect in the initial phase—concept guidance only, or full production-ready outputs such as CAD, BOM, and assembly documentation? I look forward to collaborating with you! Please send a short message here, and we will discuss the project in more detail. Thank you.

I can help with end-to-end development of upholstered, smart, and mechanized furniture, focusing on real construction, comfort, and production readiness. I have experience with CAD-based design and mechanical product development, including internal frame structure, foam and upholstery layering, and integration of mechanisms like recliners, actuators, motors, lighting, and charging systems. I can support concept-to-sample workflows by reviewing designs, defining build methods, creating or checking CAD/BOMs, and ensuring manufacturability, durability, and safe assembly. My focus is always on making sure the product is practical to build, comfortable to use, and ready for real production, not just concept design.
