this is a two part project for HillsOfGlory

If you want to start on the fallin'gemz one first, until the API is complete, that would probably be best :)

PROJECT I (Finishing the Original Jumpin'Gemz):



The first one is smaller, and uses the original system you built me already. This looks like a lot, but its really not.. I just wanted to make sure I was clear on the description.


1) We need to add the integration with my Facebook API

I will provide the API calls, the test server to run the app from for your testing, and the facebook developer page. The API is called like this:

The value returned will be in JSON format:


So the app has to be able to interpret the returns as well as form intelligent API URI's

API calls and the returns will be provided to you.

2) Invite facebook friends to play

The ability to invite friends to play is a facebook API call;

3) Give gifts to facebook friends

Giving gifts require checking the BYLAPI to make sure the friend plays jumpin' gemz,

if not, then take them to the invite friend dialog. If the friend is a player, then open the

store dialog. There are free items (small bombs, hour glass, etc), and premium items. The difference is in the API return call, and will make more sense once I provide you with the full API call and returns docs. If the user wants to send premium items to a friend, make sure the user has enough facebook credits, if not, prompt them to buy facebook credits first. if they do, take them to the checkout, and then send the items to the friend.

4) Animated cut scenes between levels

In between the levels, I would like a couple of different animation sequences giving the user props for doing a great job. After every 10 levels, there should be a dialog to prompt them to post their achivement to thier facebook page.

5) Instructions movie

Intro "how to play" movie that is shown only to new players automatically, or when a player presses the (new) Instructions button.

PROJECT II (Fallin'Gemz):

Like the Jumpin'Gemz game, we want this to have professional appeal and polish. The game itself should have the same feel and UI elements as [url removed, login to view] .. although a completely different game than Bejeweled.

In addition to the stuff I've described so far, We also want the same facebook/BYLAPI integration as with Jumpin'Gemz. Please see line items 1-5 from Jumpin'Gemz.
