Flash Based Brochure Designer Application

We're looking for someone to create a brochure designing application in Flash. The purpose of the application is to allow a user on our website to create a multi page promotional brochure on their own and at the completion the application would generate a print-ready PDF file (to our preset PDF output specifications) that we'll use to print the brochure. We'll only be looking for someone (or a team) with serious, proven interactive Flash coding skills. You will need to show examples of flash applications that you have developed in the past to be considered for this project. We will provide the visual interface design comps along with all design template layouts required for this project. The application will start with requesting general information from the user, such as creating a save name for the brochure, and select basic paper type and general options for the brochure. Next, the user will then create the cover and back cover for the brochure. They will first select from 20 pre-defined cover layout templates. Each template would have a specific design approach to it, and once the user selects a template, the user can then edit the specific elements, such as updating photography by either selecting images from our photo bank or uploading and using their own, editing text areas, changing font sizes, faces and colors and relative position. The application would have a break down list of editable sections on say the left 1/4 of the interface, and the right 3/4 of the interface would have the visual representation of brochure as the user creates it. The application needs to be able to auto save work that has been completed upon completing each main page and have a button to allow the user to save his work as he's building the brochure. After completing the cover / back cover, the user would then be brought to the next step where he she starts creating the interior pages of the brochure. Functionally this will work in a similar fashion as the cover. The user would first select from 10 predefined layout templates, and then be able to edit them just as the cover. Upload their own or use images from our image bank, edit and enter text, change fonts, size, colors, relative position. There would be a maximum and minimum bound on the number of interior pages that can be created, but not a specific number from the start. For example, the user would have to be able to have a minimum of 6 pages and a maximum of 48 interior pages, and what they create can be anything in between those 2 numbers. This application is part of an ecommerce site. The flash application will need to be able to receive user information we pass to it for pulling up saved brochures for customers. We will handle the estimate in 2 phases: 1 - we're looking for preliminary rough estimates and more importantly for examples showing that you can handle the job, because you've built other high end flash applications before. 2 - We will then narrow our list of candidates and provide you with a NDA and then a lot more full direction on the application. You will then be able to revise your estimate and we'll then select the winner. Please post questions if you have them.
