We are setting up a new department as game development. We currently have access to a large audience of gamers. We are aiming to create our first team within the next month or so. You will need to be able to do the stuff mentioned below in order to qualify. Most of the independent projects will be published online and the team projects will be either published online or through another company. Projects for clients are given to them and aren't published by us.
Please note the salary is a rough estimate but the earning potential is larger, the higher quality and better the games are and the more you make the higher the earning potential. We like to give our staff choice which is why you will have complete flexibility over how long you work each week and which projects to take part in but you only get paid for the projects you are part of.
You will be required to do 2 game development structures: independent and team projects.
Independent Structure: You will be required to create and develop your own ideas into games (mostly flash games) as well as using clients ideas or specifications to create games.
Team Project Structure: You will need to be able to work with other programmers to develop larger projects for clients.
Action Script 2.0 and/or 3.0
Preferably some knowledge of another game language (C++, C#, etc.)
Need to be willing to learn new programming languages if needed
Good English required
You must have the ability to create and develop your own ideas as most projects are independent but also willing to work in a team for the larger projects.
Some previous experience preferred but not necessary.
