I’m building an AIS-140 compliant tracking unit and need one partner who can take the idea from schematic to fully tested firmware in a single run. That means you will design the multilayer PCB, select components that satisfy ARAI / AIS-140 certification, and deliver production-ready firmware that handles GPS/GNSS acquisition, GSM/LTE data transfer, SMS fall-back, panic button logic, CAN interface, and standard-mandated encryption and packet formats. Scope • Complete schematic capture and PCB layout (Altium, KiCad, or similar) including Gerbers, BOM, 3-D step files, and assembly drawings. • Firmware in C/C++ (preferred on STM32 or an equivalent automotive-grade MCU) covering GNSS parsing, GPRS/LTE socket handling, FOTA, accelerometer-based tamper detection, and diagnostic logging. • Prototype bring-up, bench testing, and assistance through initial certification. Acceptance criteria 1. Hardware files open, compile, and pass DRC/ERC without critical errors. 2. Firmware compiles with documented toolchain and transmits AIS-140 payloads to a test server for 72 h continuously without dropouts. 3. Current consumption, GNSS TTFF, and thermal limits fall within AIS-140 tables. When you message me, focus on your direct experience designing automotive or AIS-140 devices, the tools you use, and one brief example of a similar project you have shipped. I’m ready to start immediately and will share mechanical constraints and enclosure drawings once we agree on the approach.

Hi, I can support the AIS-140 tracking unit development with PCB design, STM32-based firmware planning, GNSS/GSM/LTE integration, panic button logic, CAN interface, SMS fallback, diagnostics, and AIS-140 packet-format implementation. The best solution is to first review the AIS-140 requirements, enclosure constraints, GNSS/LTE module choice, MCU, CAN interface, power input, backup battery, panic switch, antenna layout, and certification checklist. I’ll then prepare the schematic/PCB design and firmware architecture in a way that is ready for prototype bring-up and later ARAI testing. I’m comfortable with STM32, embedded C/C++, GNSS parsing, GSM/LTE modules, GPRS socket communication, SMS fallback, CAN interface, accelerometer/tamper logic, FOTA planning, diagnostic logs, automotive PCB layout, Altium/KiCad, Gerbers, BOM, and manufacturing documentation. Deliverables for the initial milestone will include: * Schematic design * PCB layout planning * Gerber/BOM structure * GNSS + GSM/LTE interface * Panic button and CAN interface * Firmware architecture * AIS-140 packet flow * Test-server communication logic * Bring-up and validation checklist Full prototype testing, 72-hour hardware validation, and certification support can continue as separate milestones after the first board is fabricated. Best regards Ankit
