I’m a complete beginner to options and I want to understand, from the ground up, how a bull put credit spread works and then be able to place, manage, and close the trade on Tastytrade. Here’s what I have in mind: start with the theory—why the strategy is bullish, how time-decay and strike selection create the credit, and the typical risk-reward profile. Once the concept is clear, move straight into the Tastytrade platform so I can see exactly where to click, which metrics to watch, and how to monitor the position after entry. Real-time or demo examples would help cement the process. A concise cheat-sheet or recording I can revisit later would be a plus, but the main deliverable is a live or interactive session that leaves me confident to execute the trade on my own. Feel free to propose the best format and timeline; I’m ready to get started right away.

Hi there! I completed the MIT-IIT program—a collaborative initiative by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, IIT Delhi, and Asia School of Business, Kuala Lumpur. This credential has equipped me with comprehensive skills in market research, forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, supply chain management, business analytics, strategic planning, innovation-driven entrepreneurship, and data-driven decision-making. I have been managing my clients internationally e.g. London/NY to trade their money in US and European markets. I will be able to analyze the market for you. Here's how I will do it: 1) Look at Macro data, and see what the data suggests on the economy. (Ray Dalio Style) 2) Look at different sector companies fundamentals, its annual reports and make valuation models to see which is undervalued. 3) Look for momentum based trades using technical analysis. (also look at risk management) 4) Implement Options Strategies (like Cornwall fund management) 5) Will backtest data of different companies/cryptos through Amibroker, Python, MT4/5, Pinescript and teach you too if needed. 6) Discuss some great books (which costs atleast $100+), share books with you too (eg: John J Murphy) 7) Be a friend and go along your journey About me: Market experience of over 10 years. Hello, I am a certified financial technician and I know how bull put spreads work. Bull put spreads are used as an options strategy when the markets are ranging with a bullish bias: perfect for several assets now that the crude oil shock premium from the US-Iran war is playing out in the markets. The profit on the trade is the spread, which you get paid upfront. All you need is for the asset to remain in consolidation or to inch higher. The trade has two legs: a short put and a long put. The difference in price (the credit spread) is your profit as long as the stock does not crash. I can give you the exact trade mechanics, how you set it up and how to identify assets that have the potential to deliver profits with this strategy. I hope you can award this project to me so I can give you the knowledge you need about this strategy. Regards, Eno Eteng (CFTe)

Hi I can walk you through a bull put credit spread from absolute beginner level through to confidently placing and managing the trade on Tastytrade, step by step. We would start with the core concept in simple terms: why the strategy is considered bullish, how selling a higher-probability put and buying a lower strike creates a defined-risk credit, and how time decay (theta) works in your favor. I’ll also break down strike selection, probability of profit, max gain/loss, and how to think about risk versus reward so you understand what you’re actually putting on before touching the platform. Once the theory is clear, I’ll guide you through the Tastytrade interface in a practical way—where to find the options chain, how to build the spread, what Greeks and probabilities to monitor, how to size the trade, and how to enter it correctly. Then we’ll cover trade management: when to take profits, when to adjust, and when to cut losses so you avoid common beginner mistakes. To make it stick, I can also give you a simple cheat sheet summarising entry rules, exit rules, and key metrics, so you can reference it later when trading on your own. We can do this as a live walkthrough style session or a structured recorded guide plus Q&A follow-up, depending on what suits you best.
