We are looking for Spanish speaking senior researchers/location AP's to work on Channel 4's 'A Place in the Sun' travelling either 15th or 22nd August for 6 weeks to Mainland Spain and/or the Balearic Islands. 2 days of paid training either in the office or remotely is also offered before travel.
The role will involve recces and shoots in Spain and the Balearics.

As we are currently filming in the EU you must have a valid passport and ideally an EU passport for ease of travel without visas.
Also as some entry requirements request those arriving to have had both COVID-19 vaccines, preference will be given to those who will be double jabbed at least 14 days before travelling. Even if you are travelling within Spain to join the team and not flying, you must arrive with a negative PCR test (we will cover the cost of this).
You will be supporting the PD on location and need to be across every aspect of the schedule from logistics and gaining access, to securing permits, dealing with agents, looking after house hunters, research and scripting. Ideally you can self shoot as you will be required to shoot B roll also.
The ideal candidate will have experience of location filming and the role will involve being on location for 6 weeks at a time. We film 48 weeks of the year so the successful candidate will be added to our staff pool and repeat contracts are on offer.
You need to observe our COVID-19 protocols and also Channel 4's COVID protocols and a full briefing and necessary PPE will be provided before the role starts.
If you’ve got the above skills, plus are an excellent communicator and a multi tasker then we want to hear from you! Please only apply if you are available to do 2 training days next week and travel on either 15th or 22nd August.
