I have an Excel spreadsheet list of at least 100 DTG (Direct to Garment) American print companies, may be more on the list.. The person must call every single one on the sheet and introduce yourself as an assistant to a New York apparel website owner. State that the New York website owner will have an online website that will offer custom apparel to online customers. State that we can’t buy apparel from that print business since this was customized apparel that was specially made from factories. State that the apparel will be 100 % cotton. Online customers will by 1-4 pieces at a time. Then ask:
1) Can your business house the New York website owner’s customized blank apparel in your warehouse and fulfill the owner’s on demand DTG customer orders as they come in?
2) If yes, ask for the name of the person who the New York website owner can follow up with to discuss business with.
3) **If the answer was yes and the DTG print company can store the apparel in their warehouse, then ask:
Can your business fulfill the New York website owner’s customer orders from the sent in apparel, and then mail that apparel to the customer under the brand name of the website?
4) If no, type the name of the person you spoke with and type what their answer is in a comments column on the Excel spreadsheet.
*The calls must be made during North American USA normal working hours of 9am – 5pm, during the week Monday - Friday as that is when the DTG print companies work.
