Problem: I currently have a manual process I want to automate. The process consists of searching for listings on a specialty website and copying manually a field of information into excel. I tried using the function in excel to import data from External Website but the needed field couldn’t be imported ( It looks like it’s protected by the website). Note: The website is secured and is coded in Java Script Requirement: I have a list of “Record Number” (unique identifier) in excel. Each record corresponds to a Sales Listing online. The user must login to the website before they can search for the listing corresponding the “Record Number”. After the listing info is displayed, there are 2 fields that needs to be copied from the listing back to the excel file next to the “Record Number”. This action must be done for hundreds of records at a time. I need the macro/vba/Program to login to the website, search for the listing and grab the email address of the agent for each listing. The program should do the following: 1. Log into websie 2. Go to search page 3. Grab “Record Number” from Excel 4. Search for “Record Number” in website 5. Select Listing link 6. Copy email address 7. Paste it next to “Record Number” in Excel 8. Go to the next record and repeat until done with records

Excel based grabbing of online data requires you to log in each time when searching for results, a better way can be using a professional scraper like Outwit Hub. But in case you want to do it using excel without spending much on scraper, I can do it. It might be a bit slow (15-20 sec per search), but still if you leave it on before you go to bed, it will complete your job.
