Do some advanced Excel Work for a Financial Spreadsheet

I have a sophisticated Excel Spreadsheet that is used in the Australian Financial Advice industry. It is used for research and analysis on a couples financial situation and allows for recommendations off the back of the analyisis.
One of the next features to add on is the ability to hold a database of managed funds/investments. Each fund would have detail of its fees (ICR and MER), asset allocation, buy/sell spread, and potentially performance figures.
We would expect to have a list of around 500 managed funds with all this detail.
There are a number of places that we will need to be able to select various managed funds, and the % that would go into each fund to produce a portfolio. The portfolio would then need the weighted total figures for each of the different variables.
Also, we would need a way to be able to analyse transaction fees for rebalancing a portfolio. ie it would need to work out the buy sell spread fees on the different rebalances.
This will make a lot more sense once I show you 2 spreadsheets that we have. However, given the size of the spreadsheet already - we need someone with the skills to make sure that it all works very efficiently and easily.
Lastly - I require someone who is very detail oriented and ensures that they then test their work and make sure that it works how it should. I don't want to have to test it all again after each edit to make sure that it works as intended.
Once Complete - there is a second project that will deal with financial projections over time. It would require quite a bit of work and will put you in good stead to get this job as well.

Based on the information you have provided it seems your project would be done via MS Access which would link your excel file as table and based on your requirement jet queries need to be designs which will give you required result and they result will be given in a separate excel or generated via reports. I am having experience of such kind of project where we have done the automation of demand supply reports and analysis of a MNc. I am having around 5 years of IT experience and I am new here ( freelancer) but I would lose to assure you that your work will be done with super quality and regression testing.
