Here's the project I mentioned via messaging.
Attached are five spreadsheets. Four are in a compressed file. The fifth, the largest, is by itself.
Here's what we need done:
1. Take the four initial spreadsheets and create one master spreadsheet that has an unduplicated master list of companies with addresses from the four spreadsheets. (Each of the four spreadsheets includes multiple contacts from a single company, and may have duplicate companies across the four spreadsheets.)
2. Create an additional unduplicated list of companies and addresses from the fifth, largest spreadsheet. (There are multiple contacts in that one too.)
3. Use the two new lists to create a visualization that maps them across the U.S. based on their address. We'd like to have every DMA that has more than 5 to 9 companies coded in a certain size/color, those that have 10 to 19 companies in a different size/color and those with 20 or more in a third size/color. (we are looking for largest opportunity DMA's to assign to salespeople)
(FYI, if you are unfamiliar with designated market areas or DMA's in the US, here's an explanation and links to some sources of lists: [url removed, login to view])
4. Append the spreadsheet with DMA for each record, so we can assign the companies to specific salesperson based on DMA's.
That's the assignment. Not a huge rush, just need some time in next week. Let me know if you can do this and cost. I've put a guess in below.
