Hi, I'm looking to create an order sheet in the form of an excel spreadsheet. The main page or tab is the order sheet that can be handed to a warehouse manager so that he knows how many orders there are, what are the items (SKU number of products) and the corresponding quantities, its corresponding order number, the order recipient as well as the preferred packaging type. A second tab will act as a raw data depositary which the main page will pick information from. The information will come from the sales platform (such as Amazon or other websites that i may do business on and I will export my orders on those websites to paste onto this depositary area so that the excel can "scan" through. A 3rd tab will have all the product SKUs of my shop, along with its preferred packaging type (bubble wrap, carton box etc).
In the scenario where there are multiple product SKUs in a single order, the excel must decide based on the weight or size (maybe we can enter the dimensions of the products in the product SKU section) and come back with the best packaging method, meaning, if i have a larger product that requires a carton box packaging and a smaller product that needs only a bubble wrap, then the excel will decide that the better way to pack the order will be with a carton box.
This excel spread sheet will be used to compile orders from multiple sales platforms (Alibaba, our own website etc, details will be provided to you if you pick up the project), so this excel should display in the order page that's going to the warehouse, he platform that the order belongs to, the name of the courier service (sometimes in one platform, customers can choose between 1 of 2 shipping company). so this information will be part of the data we will input into the data depositary area.
Do let me know if this is doable, i may have something similar now but it is all manual.
