We are developing a large scale medical practice.
The task required is to use excel to develop and analyse queueing lengths for a large multifaceted medical practice.
We have gone as far as we can with our limited knowledge of excel and need help to finish the writing of this programme which will use standard probability analysis to determine staff numbers, bottlenecks and queue lengths and time. This information will initially help the determination of the business case.
The successful candidate will need to complete the reception area queueing task to demonstrate capability. The successful candidate will then use a process flow chart provided by us to integrate up to another 7 separate steps to analyse queue lengths.
The attached excel spreadsheet contains an arrival time probability and a reception time probability using a random number generator. In this initial case we have a single service, multiple server queue. The initial task is to develop a macro that allows us to vary the number of servers and then show the queue lengths.
The complication then increases as we add multi-service and multi-server operations to the process flow.
