We are looking to hire a lighting programmer/engineer for concerts we hold at our Amphitheater in Norco, CA. We have about 20 shows per year. The design and install are already covered; I just need someone to work the lighting console and a few other other tasks during the show. Expect a typical touring rig of moving heads, LED pars, and blinders running through a GrandMA or Avolites desk. You’ll liaise directly with my FOH audio tech for timing calls, handle any last-minute focus tweaks during sound-check, and keep the show punchy yet safe for the crowd. Deliverables for each concert: • Fully programmed show file loaded and ready before doors • Live cue operation throughout the performance, matching band set-list and tempo changes • Immediate troubleshooting of lamps, cabling, or console issues to avoid dark moments • Summary report afterward noting any faults or improvements for the next date If you have experience with mid-sized outdoor venues and can supply a quick portfolio clip or reference, let’s lock in the dates. Please send me your details. Thank You

Hi, I read you need a lighting console operator for your 20‑show season at the Norco amphitheater. I’ve worked as a lighting engineer on mid‑size outdoor venues, handling GrandMA and Avolites desks, moving heads, LED pars, and blinders. Just wrapped up a similar 18‑show run at a 5,000‑seat amphitheater, delivering pre‑show files, live cue sync with the FOH audio tech, and post‑show fault reports. I’ll load the show file before doors open, cue the set‑list in real time, and troubleshoot lamp or cable issues on the fly to keep the audience safe and the performance punchy. A quick backup lamp plan and focus‑map sync are standard in my workflow. Happy to jump on a quick call to discuss your setup. Worst case, you get a free consultation and some solid ideas.

Hello, I am Mohammed From Tampa, FL. Ensuring a punchy yet safe show can be challenging with last-minute tweaks and technical issues. I specialize in troubleshooting and live cue operation, understanding the nuances of working with touring rigs like yours. I’ll approach the setup by pre-loading the fully programmed show file, ensuring all cues align with the band's set-list and tempo changes. During sound-check, I’ll collaborate closely with your FOH audio tech for timing calls and make any necessary focus adjustments. My immediate response to any console or cabling issues guarantees no downtime during the performance. With significant experience at mid-sized outdoor venues, I’ve supported numerous concerts requiring tight coordination between lighting and audio teams. What challenges have you faced in past performances due to equipment or cue timing? How do you prefer to communicate during the show for optimal coordination? Thank you.

I’m a strong fit for this project because I bring nearly 20 years of professional lighting experience across concerts, tours, festivals, and live events. I specialize in grandMA2 and grandMA3 programming and operation and am comfortable programming show files, operating live to music, coordinating with FOH, troubleshooting under show conditions, and adapting quickly when something changes onsite. I also have extensive experience with moving lights, LED fixtures, networking, cue building, and working in outdoor and festival environments. I’m based in Southern California and would be interested in supporting the approximately 20 shows per year on an ongoing basis. My bid of $750 is my rate per concert/show day.
