We’re visiting Tokyo during the weekend of August 14 and are looking for someone to spend about 3 to 4 hours with us one evening in Shinjuku or Nakano. This is not a formal tour guide job but more of a casual hangout. We’re looking for someone who enjoys going out, knows the local nightlife, and can help us navigate the evening. We’d like to visit a few izakayas, Omoide Yokocho, Golden Gai, or other recommended spots. Assistance with translating when needed and explaining local customs and etiquette would be appreciated. If opportunities arise to meet locals naturally, we’d love your help breaking the ice. We’re both easygoing and interested in Japanese culture—anime, manga, video games, sports—and would love to experience Tokyo through a local’s perspective. We’ll pay an hourly rate and cover food and drinks.
