Build a POS customer display

I want to build a POS customer display for windows OS (driver compatibility with win8 and above).

The unit should appear as a printing device in pc.

The unit should be usb operated. may have separate power supply*.

The unit should be able to work without the internet.

the data from print command needs to be filtered and selectively displayed as QR code on the screen

*further details about device internal program and operation will be shared.
