Main Objectives of the circuit:
- AC input voltage in the range of 180 V to 260 V 50 Hz and output an AC voltage of 240 V at 50 Hz. Otherwise, the AVR system should shut off.
- The output voltage regulation range should be +2% to -2% of the nominal output voltage.
- The AVR system should also be able to perform the following tasks: surge suppression, short circuit protection and harmonic filtering.
- Circuit in both (ORCAD/PSPICE SCHEMATICS) and (MATLAB/SIMULINK)
- Designs should be analyzed and justified in terms of performance, complexity and cost.
