I have a steam flashing system please see the picture attached). There are two pressure vessels attached to each other through piping. First pressure vessel is initially at 15 MPa and temperature is 343 degrees. Second pressure vessel is initially at ambient conditions. Valve is opened until pressure in the second pressure vessel get to 0.55 MPa and then valve is closed. Now I need to find the time it takes to achieve these conditions and how much the pressure drops in the first pressure vessel which was initially at 15 MPa.
