We need help with designing a small plastic housing (about 1 inch cube) that will enclose a small load cell sensor. The sensor has to be installed on an exercise equipment in order to capture accurate output. Candidate has to be able to test different sensors and provide feedback to a mechanical engineer (ME) in order for the ME to update the ProE model to update the prototype. The candidate also needs to test for consistent signal output from these sensors. Usage of millimeter/scope and knowledge of inputs to microcontrollers will be necessary. Being able to use hand tools (screw driver, wrench) is a plus. Candidate will be working side by side with team engineer.

Activities will include:

Installing sensor housing on the exercise equipment with tools.

Testing the sensor signal output in multiple enclosures.
