Waste Water Recycle Skid Design - Solidworks

Project Scope:

To design a steel fabricated skid using SolidWorks ("Weldments" and Sheet Metal) which will contain a number of wastewater recycling components in line with provided design parameters. Four possible solutions will be presented. Each Skid design will contain all required components and be fully plumbed with pipe work (Georg Fischer Piping) using the SolidWorks Routing facility. All major SolidWorks solid models will be provided for use in the design process. It will be necessary for the candidate to use their own Georg Fischer pipe and fittings library (or similar) suitable for the Routing facility in SolidWorks. A P&ID diagram will also be provided for connections and minor piping component placement. All steel members must be selected to be suitable to support necessary loads and forces, with required Stress Analysis performed and test data presented with the models. All steel profiles chosen must be commonly available in Australia. The most suitable design of the four will be further developed and full manufacturing drawings for the fabricated skid will then be produced as part of the project. These drawings must be produced to Australian Standard AS 1100. Further work may be available to the successful candidate who produces a high standard of work.
