I’m rolling out an industrial-grade IoT solution to supervise and control an oil-filtration line. The job spans embedded firmware through to field wiring, so I need someone who is equally comfortable writing low-level code and crimping a terminal block. Scope of work The core task is to design and deploy a complete connected node (or nodes) that gathers data from the filtration skid, pushes those readings to a cloud or local dashboard, and executes real-time control logic. You’ll decide the microcontroller or SBC platform, pick the right sensors for viscosity, particulate count, pressure or any other parameter critical to oil quality, and integrate them cleanly into existing panels. A solid grasp of industrial protocols (Modbus, CAN, Ethernet/IP, etc.) will be helpful because the controller must talk to the plant’s PLC network. On-site involvement Lab prototyping can happen at your place, but final installation and commissioning will be on our shop floor. Plan for at least one visit—and possibly a short stay—so that wiring, enclosure layout and acceptance tests are carried out right next to the machinery. What you’ll hand over • Fully commented source code (firmware and, if used, gateway software) • Pin-for-pin wiring diagrams and connection schedules • Sensor datasheets, calibration files and any custom libraries • A brief commissioning report confirming that readings, control loops and alert channels perform as specified All intellectual property, including the source, belongs to us once the project is signed off.
