From warm-up to cooling, the machine must follow pre-set and user-editable roast profiles that tightly coordinate temperature, drum speed and timing so every batch is consistent. My ideal control stack includes a dedicated profile screen on the roaster itself and remote connectivity—USB for firmware flashing or data export, plus Bluetooth and Wi-Fi so I can monitor or tweak profiles from a laptop or phone in real time. Whether you prefer PLCs, an industrial PC, or a micro-controller/ SBC solution (Arduino, STM32, Raspberry Pi, etc.), I’m open as long as accuracy, safety interlocks and reliability are assured.
