I’m building a small-scale IoT device dedicated to continuous monitoring and data collection inside a typical home. The core goal is to sense key environmental parameters, push them securely to the cloud, and expose the readings in real time for later analysis. Here’s what I already have in mind: a compact, low-power microcontroller (ESP32 or similar), Wi-Fi connectivity, and a simple set of sensors—temperature, humidity and possibly light or motion—though I’m open to strong technical suggestions. I’ll need you to design the hardware layout, write reliable firmware, and set up the data pipeline (MQTT, REST or another lightweight protocol that fits a home network). Clean, well-documented code with OTA update support is essential.
