Requires developing an embedded systems hardware and firmware of Arduino to connect 1 motor, 1 solenoid, 1 LCD, 1 Ultrasound Sensor, 1 Arduino board, and a battery that will measure liquid flow. Arduino board will receive two inputs (battery, ultrasound) and send two ouputs (LCD, Solenoid).
All components will be provided. You will be designing those circuits and selecting a board that is electrically compatible and creating a schematic
Coding for reading Ultrasound output will need to be created.
Data to be transmitted to the LCD shows in mL, near continuous or every 1 to 5 seconds interval.
Must be able to load Arduino code to be deployed from windows based computer to future prototypes. Code will need to be adjustable for future changes of inputs/outputs.
The project is to use an Arduino circuit board
You need to write a program for the Arduino to receive signals from the ultrasound that will tell the Arduino board to display in mL the flow of liquid then after max passage of flow to rotate the Solenoid stopping flow.
You will create an evaluation kit for the prototype and each component including code, documentation, and assembly information.
Prefer resident of NC, SC or TN but must be US based in order to possibly meet
The process for the prototype will need to be documented.
A more detailed description will be given after acceptance of the project.
