Ultrasonic detector with high-pass filter

This project is to design and produce a working prototype of an ultrasonic detector working in the 12kHz-150kHz waveband. It will require a micropower ultrasonic low noise microphone preamp with a high pass filter. The filter output will be fed to a micropower amplier / comparator circuit to form the ultrasound detector limited to the 12kHz-150kHz waveband.

The system should operate from an existing power source for a data logger that is operating at [url removed, login to view] derived from a 9V LiPo battery.

This project will be a micropower version of an existing successful ‘low-power’ system (A circuit diagram of this analogue circuit is available) to make it viable as a portable device for long-term unattended field use.

Payments terms;

On award of the project 30% of the total value will be released followed by 10% after schematic completion, 10% after PCB design, 20% after notification of the working prototype. The final 30% to be released after delivery and personal testing.

It's significantly easier to achieve micropower operation with an all-analog circuit than a DSP-based one (though I can do both for you). In fact if 1mA is your target that's fairly ample with analog circuitry! Bid Plus
