Mr X loves listening to his music, which is very modern and only available on CDs. Because of his job, Mr
X spends most of his time driving on long journeys. He would like to be able to listen to his CDs on those
long and lonely journeys. Unfortunately, his lorry did not come with a CD player. To get around this
problem, he has bought a portable CD player. It turned out that his player can only operate from 12V DC
supply while the output from the vehicle is 24V DC.
Your assignment is to carry out a design exercise with the aim of providing Mr X with the necessary product
that will enable him to enjoy his music using his newly acquired player. Mr X has promised to offer
unlimited amount of praise for the best design!!
