Need Efficient and Easy Way to Assemble Very Small LED Circuits (Circuit is Already Designed)

I have a project that uses a very small LED circuit that's only made from 3 electronics components (including the LED itself). Currently, I am having a small electronics firm assemble these where they use a PCB to attach all 3 components into a single circuit. However, I'd like to eliminate the PCB altogether and not use a board at all. My application requires the circuit to be as tiny as possible therefore I'm wanting the LED soldered directly to the other two small components. I know it can (and has been) done by hand. However, due to the number of these I require, I cannot make them one-by-one by hand. I need a process that's automated or semi-automated and can be done in my home shop without the need to purchase an extremely expensive pick and place machine. If you believe you can come up with an automated system (either by using existing equipment or parts, or by developing a new system but on a very small budget), then let me know! As mentioned, the circuit itself really doesn't require any design work. It's a process to assemble these quickly and affordably so that I can make several of them (over 5,000 pcs).
