Induction Charger Project Aid

I am designing an induction charging light project for work and have a prototype made. I just cannot get the transmitter and receiver coils to link up via Inductive coupling. Any help would be much appreciated.

Further help with integrating a battery monitoring chip for the Li-Ion would be helpful also.

Please see attached power point and picture of bread board prototype.

Hello, How thick is the plate you glued to the coils? Do you have oscilloscope to perform some measurments on the coil and in the circuit? I think that your design needs some tweaks to work efficiently. Best regards, Plus
