Electronic Drum Module with sounds

Electronic drum module with sounds. The drum module will read signals coming from several piezo discs, or capacitive sensors, and convert that into midi signals into USB port, and play WAV or MP3 files from an SD card.

Features:

· User interface by a 16x2 LCD, with four push buttons

· 4 different types of stereo audio jacks, as listed below:

o Type A:

§ 1 jack: analog input coming from Tip of the jack, and supplying [url removed, login to view] through the sleeve of the jack

o Type B:

§ 7 jacks: each jack with analog inputs coming from Tip of the jack, and capacitive sensor inputs coming from the sleeve of the jack

o Type C:

§ 3 jacks: each jack with analog inputs coming from Tip of the jack, and other analog inputs coming from the sleeve of the jack;

o Type D:

§ 2 jacks: analog inputs coming from the tip of the jack;

o Total of 13 input jacks

· SD Card, for reading files and streaming audio

· Audio plug for hearing audio through headset

· Send midi notes through USB Port

· Save user configuration (into EEPROM or flash memory), coming from four push buttons

Requirements:

· Use STM32F4 microcontroller

· Use parts available on the Open Parts Library ([url removed, login to view]), from SeeedStudio. Any required component not available in the list must be approved by client

· Maximum PCB size: 10cm x 15 cm, dual layer board

· Jack terminals must connect to ground when plugs are not connected

· Ability to play a minimum of 16 MP3 or WAV files simultaneously

· Inputs signal on the B, C & D types of jacks must have 2nd order Low Pass filters (30Hz cutoff frequency), before each signal is sent to the microcontroller. This is not required for the capacitive sensors inputs, on type B jacks

· Any analog signals read from Types B, C and D jacks must be discharged (become 0V, tolerance: +[url removed, login to view]) within 60 milliseconds or less

· Use [url removed, login to view] audio jacks

· Two LEDs (for code debugging purposes)

· Use either micro USB or Type B connector, for both powering and data transfer

· P4 jack for powering the board, in case not connected through the USB port

· Firmware development is not required
