To design a 3-phase, 200-amp, 600VAC electrical contactor to replace an existing galvanic isolation device within our solid-state circuit breakers. The new design does not have to break current or open under load. However, it must be able to be disconnected manually and electronically. Design must fit into our existing solid-state circuit breaker footprint and is going to involve substantial coordination with integration into existing product. This project requires professional knowledge level in electrical mechanics, plastics design, and disconnect engagement methods. Additionally, all designs must be for prototyping and validation for integration. Candidate must be able to start immediately with 100% focus on this project. This project requires rapid design for our next generation products with prototyping expected to commence by March, 2018.
