Freelance Paid Media & Social Media Manager Contract: Freelance Time Commitment: 3 days per week Budget Responsibility: Minimum £100,000 annual paid media budget Location: UK (with travel to festival locations) As we continue to scale nationally, we are looking for a Freelance Paid Media & Social Media Manager to lead our digital marketing efforts and help drive ticket sales and audience growth. The Role: We are seeking a creative and data-driven freelancer to own and execute our paid media and social media strategy across the year. You will manage our digital advertising campaigns, grow our social channels and create engaging content that drives ticket sales and brand awareness. This is a hands-on role combining performance marketing, content creation and social media management. You will also attend festivals across the UK to capture high-quality photo and video content for use across social media and advertising campaigns. Key Responsibilities: Paid Media Management Manage and optimise £100,000+ annual paid media budget Plan, launch and optimise campaigns across: Google Ads Meta (Facebook & Instagram) TikTok Ads Drive ticket sales and event awareness across multiple city launches Monitor campaign performance and optimise for conversions Build retargeting funnels and audience strategies Produce regular reporting and performance insights Social Media Management Manage the official festival social channels: Instagram Facebook TikTok YouTube Responsibilities include: Creating and executing a social content strategy Posting and scheduling regular content Managing comments, messages and community engagement Growing followers and engagement across platforms Creating launch campaigns for new festival locations Content Creation: Produce high-quality short-form video and photo content Film and edit social-first video content (Reels, TikTok, Youtube Shorts) Capture content at festivals across the UK Create assets for both organic social and paid advertising Maintain a consistent visual identity and brand tone Ideal Candidate: We are looking for someone who combines creative storytelling with strong performance marketing skills. You should have: Proven experience managing paid media campaigns with £50k+ budgets Strong knowledge of Meta Ads, Google Ads and TikTok Ads Experience growing Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok accounts Strong content creation skills (video + photo) Ability to shoot and edit short-form video Experience working with events, festivals, nightlife or hospitality brands (preferred) A data-driven approach to marketing performance Ability to travel to festivals across the UK Deliverables: Social media management across all platforms Paid media campaign strategy and optimisation Monthly performance reports Regular content creation for social and advertising On-site content capture at selected festival events Contract Details: Freelance contract 3 days per week £100,000+ annual paid media budget management Travel required to festival locations How to Apply Please send: A short introduction about yourself Links to campaigns or brands you’ve worked on Examples of social media accounts you’ve grown Examples of video or photo content you’ve created
